Preview: South Kitsap Wolves vs. Rogers Rams
South Kitsap is 1-9 against the Rams since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The South Kitsap Wolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rogers Rams at 7:00 p.m. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Tuesday, South Kitsap ended up a good deal behind the Bison and lost 49-35. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for South Kitsap in their matchups with the Bison: they've now lost three in a row.
Loss or not, South Kitsap got some senior leadership from Grace Degarimore and Kamdyn Hagerty. Degarimore scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Hagerty. dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. It was the first time this season that Degarimore scored 15 or more points.
Meanwhile, Rogers took a serious blow against the Spartans on Tuesday, falling 70-22. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Rogers has scored all season.
South Kitsap's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Rogers, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-9.
