Volleyball Recap: Annapolis Panthers vs. Severna Park Falcons
Annapolis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Severna Park Falcons. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Falcons when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
While Annapolis had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 25-19.
Carolin Heyder paced Annapolis' offense, picking up eight kills. Heyder got some help from Meg Ronayne and her 16 assists. Kate Woodward controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Among those leading the charge was Jennifer Hong, who had 14 digs and three aces.
Annapolis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Severna Park, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
