Basketball Recap: Johnson Pumas vs. Pritzker Jaguars
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Comer, Johnson was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Pritzker Jaguars by a score of 32-24. This was payback for the Pumas, who suffered a 62-19 loss the last time these two teams met.
Johnson found their leader in freshman De'Zeriya Leary, who posted 19 points. Ziyah Smith was another key player, putting up seven points.
Despite the defeat, Pritzker saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Isabella Medrano dropped a double-double with ten points and 20 rebounds.
