Basketball Recap: Ryland Wolff Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Holyoke

Haxtun hadn't done well against Holyoke recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Haxtun Fightin' Bulldogs came out on top against the Holyoke Dragons by a score of 66-59. This was a revenge game for the Fightin' Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Dragons two weeks ago, they had to take a 60-56 loss.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Haxtun to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ryland Wolff, who posted nine points along with seven boards and five assists. Wolff has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Madden Larsen, who went 6 for 15 on his way to 18 points.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 7-8. As for Holyoke, they dropped their record down to 8-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Haxtun has already played their next game, a 39-38 victory against Akron on the 6th. Holyoke has also already played their next matchup (against Caliche), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
