Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

If Lincoln was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Franklin on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers came up short against the Marshall Barristers on Wednesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Barristers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-19, 25-12.

Despite the defeat, Lincoln saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jessie Valencia had 22 digs.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 15-18. As for Marshall, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marshall, they will challenge Taft at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
