Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kansas). They put the hurt on the Westville Yellowjackets with a sharp 21-4 win on Tuesday. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Kansas' win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Westville, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Looking ahead, Kansas will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Grove at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Comets 2.6, the Ridgerunners 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Westville, they will host Sequoyah at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
