Basketball Recap: Twin Valley Comes Up Short

Twin Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Grundy Golden Wave, falling 86-36. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-40 last Tuesday.

Twin Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Grundy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Twin Valley won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Hurley at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Grundy, they will square off against Pike County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
