Volleyball Recap: Hazleton Area Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Hazleton Area was the 3-0 winner over Greater Nanticoke Area when they last played one another back in September of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell 3-1 to the Trojans on Monday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18, 19-25, 25-19.

Greater Nanticoke Area found their leader in sophomore Alyvia Schneider, who had ten digs and two aces.

Hazleton Area's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Greater Nanticoke Area, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-7.

Looking ahead, Hazleton Area will take on MMI Preparatory School at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Greater Nanticoke Area, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Dallas on the 7th.
