Dalton Walker Turns in Season-Best Performance
Elkhart was led to victory by Dalton Walker, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Walker rushed for 218 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 69 yards.
Walker must have Buffalo's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Walker saw the Bison), he rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also picked up 65 receiving yards.

A Season-Best Performance from Trystyn Tidrow Leads Elkhart over Buffalo
On Friday, Elkhart got the W thanks in part to Trystyn Tidrow playing the best football he has all season. Tidrow threw for 294 yards and six touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 47 yards. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2023. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making eight total tackles and defending a pass.
Tidrow and Elkhart will square off against Arp at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tidrow will face off against Thomas Mckelvey, the Tigers' star quarterback. So who wins this QB-duel? There's only one way to know for sure.

Big Game from Wallum As Troup Won 50-6
Bryce Wallum's big game helped extend Troup's winning streak to five on Friday. Wallum was unstoppable, rushing for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 107 yards and two touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes.
Troup's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Wallum and Troup will be playing in front of their home fans against New Diana at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Davyon Mapps Delivers Electric Performance Vs West Rusk
New Diana picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Davyon Mapps. Mapps was dynamite, rushing for 145 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 112 rushing yards dating back to last season.
On the year, Mapps has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 127.5 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 79.17 rushing yards per game.

Brett Wells and Co. Win Fifth in a Row
Troup picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Brett Wells. Nobody could stop Wells as he rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown.
Wells must have Winona's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Wells last faced the Wildcats back in October of 2023, he rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
