Eagle Valley took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They breezed by the Gunnison Cowboys at home to the tune of 32-0. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Devils had established a 20 point advantage.

Eagle Valley found their leader in underclassman Colter Blakey, who threw for 385 yards and four touchdowns. A healthy portion of that aerial production (101 yards to be exact) went to Keaden Lake.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eagle Valley will face off against Canon City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gunnison, they will venture away from home to face off against Delta at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
