Softball Recap: Davis Sr. Comes Up Short

Davis Sr. was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-2 to the Del Oro Golden Eagles. If the Blue Devils were looking for revenge after losing 12-1 to the Golden Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Davis Sr. saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gracie Martinez, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Davis Sr.'s loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Del Oro, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Davis Sr. will take on rival Rocklin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Del Oro is set to square off against their familiar foe Folsom at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
