Soccer Game Preview: Lodi vs. Belleville

Lodi has won four straight games at home, while Belleville has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Blue Devils will host the Wildcats at 6:45 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Lodi will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Tuesday, then bounced right back against River Valley on Saturday. The Blue Devils were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Blackhawks. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Lodi's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, Belleville hasn't lost a match since April 26th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. They never let West Salem get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Belleville haven't had any issues with West Salem recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Anya Brenkman and Audry Brueggemann scored all three of Belleville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 39 goals.

Lodi's victory bumped their record up to 6-3-1. As for Belleville, their win bumped their record up to 14-2-1.
