Lead Hill's loss ends three-game winning streak at home

Recap: Lead Hill Tigers vs. Alpena Leopards
The Lead Hill Tigers lost against the Alpena Leopards back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Lead Hill was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 42-41 to Alpena. Lead Hill has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lead Hill lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nolan Turner, who scored eight points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Nicklas May, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.
Lead Hill's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-19. As for Alpena, their win bumped their record up to 10-13.
Lead Hill will head out on the road to face off against Omaha at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alpena, they will be playing at home against Jasper at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Jasper's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
