Basketball Recap: Antelope Gets the Win

If San Luis wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Antelope, they should've done a better job of containing Trane Figueroa. The Antelope Rams came out on top against the San Luis Sidewinders by a score of 63-50 on Monday thanks in part to Figueroa, who posted 25 points in addition to five boards and three steals. Those 25 points gave him a new career-high.

The victory got Antelope back to even at 6-6. As for San Luis, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Antelope wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-28 win against Phoenix Day School for the Deaf on the 14th. As for San Luis, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Tolleson at 7:00 p.m. Tolleson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.5 points per game this season.
