Cypress Creek scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 33-25 to the Oak Ridge Pioneers. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Oak Ridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joshua Northern, who rushed for 110 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 13 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Da'ron Newton Caster, who picked up 129 receiving yards and one TD.

Cypress Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Oak Ridge, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-4.

Coming up, Cypress Creek will square off against Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bears will be up against the Patriots' rather soft defense (which has allowed 44 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Oak Ridge, they will challenge Evans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans' defense has only allowed 11.4 points per game this season, so the Pioneers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
