South County had won seven straight home games dating back to last season and Devin Ko did his part to make it eight on Tuesday. The Stallions walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Langley Saxons for which the team can thank Ko, who had 18 digs and four aces. He has been hot recently, having posted 18 or more digs the last three times he's played.

South County had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 26-24, 25-20, 25-17.

South County's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Langley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South County will face off against West Potomac at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Langley, they will venture away from home to face off against George C. Marshall at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
