Basketball Recap: Onalaska Comes Up Short

Onalaska lost against Coldspring-Oakhurst on January 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Onalaska Wildcats received a blow as they fell 44-27 to the Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Onalaska's defeat dropped their record down to 9-20. As for Coldspring-Oakhurst, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Onalaska Wildcats duke it out with the Trinity Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Onalaska is facing Trinity at the right time seeing as Trinity is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Coldspring-Oakhurst, they will head out to challenge Anderson-Shiro at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Anderson-Shiro has won three straight at home, while Coldspring-Oakhurst won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
