Socastee and Carolina Forest are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Braves will welcome the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Socastee is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten goals on Friday, they were much more limited against St. James on Tuesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Sharks who were credited with the win.

Socastee will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Carolina Forest extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday. The Panthers never let Conway get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Carolina Forest's winning goal came courtesy of Parker Galiardo.

Carolina Forest's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-8. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matches. As for Socastee, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.

Socastee beat Carolina Forest by a goal in their previous matchup back in March, winning 3-2. Will the Braves repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
