Basketball Recap: Hitchcock-Tulare Comes Up Short

Hitchcock-Tulare was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds, falling 72-41. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing 69-31 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hitchcock-Tulare's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Wolsey-Wessington, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Hitchcock-Tulare will host Jones County on Saturday. As for Wolsey-Wessington, they will head out to take on Warner at 8:00 p.m. on February 28th.
