Basketball Recap: Hoquiam Comes Up Short

Hoquiam was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 58-50 to the Montesano Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-45 on January 8th.

Hoquiam's record now sits at 5-12. As for Montesano, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hoquiam will host Tenino at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Tenino will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Hoquiam surely won't give up without a fight. Montesano has already played their next contest (against Rochester), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
