Softball Recap: Roosevelt Takes Down Ranked Bell

Roosevelt faced Bell in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Roughriders were the clear victors by a 13-7 margin over the Griffins. The result was nothing new for the Roughriders, who have now won three contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Roosevelt's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Bell, they moved to 3-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Roosevelt has already played their next game, a 29-8 loss against School Without Walls on the 24th. Bell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
