Volleyball Recap: Hilliard Bradley Comes Up Short

Hilliard Bradley lost against Olentangy Liberty back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Jaguars lost 3-0 to the Patriots. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 25-20.

Kasey Henry paced Hilliard Bradley's offense, picking up 12 kills. Henry got some help from Noah Santone and his 31 assists. Shannen Stevenson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Olentangy Liberty found their leader in freshman Sreekar Sunkara, who had five digs and two aces. Sunkara has been hot, having also posted 14 or more assists the last seven times he's played.

Hilliard Bradley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Olentangy Liberty, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hilliard Bradley is set to face off against their familiar foe Upper Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Olentangy Liberty will square off against rival Dublin Coffman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
