Stanton County is 8-2 against Syracuse since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Stanton County Trojans will head out to challenge the Syracuse Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Syracuse took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Stanton County, who comes in off a win.

Stanton County is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Sublette 61-18 on Friday. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Trojans had established a 41 point advantage.

Meanwhile, Syracuse suffered their biggest loss since February 20, 2024 on Friday. They took a blow against Southwestern Heights, falling 49-17. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The win made it two in a row for Stanton County and bumps their season record up to 3-4. As for Syracuse, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Stanton County was able to grind out a solid victory over Syracuse in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 37-28. The rematch might be a little tougher for Stanton County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
