Football Recap: Marist Comes Up Short

Marist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 24-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Benet Academy Redwings.

Marist's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Benet Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Marist has already played their next game, a 27-0 defeat against Carmel on the 30th. As for Benet Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 7-6 victory against Saint Viator on the 30th.
