Baseball Recap: Canutillo's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

If Canutillo was riding high fresh off their 8-1 takedown of Andress last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Canutillo took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Burges Mustangs on Tuesday. Eagles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Mustangs since on Tuesday.

Emilio Melendez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Ian Melendez, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
