Basketball Recap: Yale Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Yale put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the North Branch Broncos by a score of 43-33. The 43-point effort marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Yale's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.4 points per game. As for North Branch, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Yale and Alpena will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Branch, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Almont at 7:30 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
