Baseball Recap: Nampa Comes Up Short

Nampa came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Bishop Kelly Knights, falling 21-5. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Knights this season, with their most recent loss being a 14-1 defeat last Wednesday.

Ethan Stauffer made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double.

Nampa's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Bishop Kelly, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Nampa nor Bishop Kelly have any future games scheduled.
