Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Wellington, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Valley didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Wellington in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 69-63 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
