Meanwhile, Boron had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Roadrunners 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.
Malachi Rucker made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jalen York, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Geordyn Rundblade, who went 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.
Boron kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rosamond only managed four hits.
Boron pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Frazier Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 0-14.
