Soccer Recap: Florida Christian Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Florida Christian was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They came up short against the Westwood Christian Warriors, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 434th, while the Warriors are ranked 186th).

Florida Christian's goal came courtesy of Angelie Palaci, who's now up to five this season.

Florida Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Westwood Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-0-1.

Florida Christian wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-1 defeat against Divine Savior Academy on the 5th. Westwood Christian has also already played their next game, a 7-0 victory against Cushman on the 10th.
