Lakota lost to Arcadia back in May of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Raiders' pitchers stepped up to hand the Redskins a 13-0 shutout. Considering the Raiders have won six matchups by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kailynn Smith was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Hannah Stahl, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

The win got Lakota back to even at 9-9. As for Arcadia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.

Lakota will venture away from home to challenge St. Mary Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Arcadia has already played their next contest (against North Baltimore), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
