Volleyball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Appalachian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat back in August.

Cleveland's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Appalachian, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6.

Cleveland has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Susan Moore on the 29th. As for Appalachian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Locust Fork on the 29th.
