Baseball Recap: St. James Comes Up Short

St. James managed to slip by Salem the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. St. James came up short against Salem on Tuesday, falling 15-5. The defeat leaves St. James still looking for their first win of the season.

St. James' loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Salem, their win bumped their record up to 4-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. James will welcome New Haven at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Salem, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Houston at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Houston's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Salem's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
