Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kaleigh Kelly and Abby Demille Lead Pembroke to Victory

Pembroke entered their tilt with Plymouth North on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Titans also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Pembroke walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-8, 20-26, 25-17.

Pembroke was led to victory by Abby Demille and Kaleigh Kelly. Demille had ten digs and two assists, while Kelly had five digs. Those five digs gave Kelly a new career-high. Noelle Kay also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

Pembroke was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in three consecutive contests.

Pembroke's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Plymouth North, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Pembroke wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Hanover on the 3rd. As for Plymouth North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Marshfield on the 2nd.
