Softball Recap: Ocean Springs Takes a Loss

Ocean Springs fell victim to Orange Beach and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Makos. The Greyhounds just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Kylie Untisz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits.

Ocean Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Orange Beach, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Coming up, Ocean Springs will welcome Biloxi at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ocean Springs' pitchers better be ready for this one: Biloxi has averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Orange Beach, they will take on Daniel Boone in a tournament on Monday.
