Soccer Recap: Arleta Comes Up Short

On Monday, the Arleta Mustangs came up short against the Chavez Eagles and fell 3-1.

Arleta's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4-4. As for Chavez, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4-4 record this season.

Coming up, Arleta will challenge Verdugo Hills at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Arleta is facing Verdugo Hills at the right time seeing as Verdugo Hills is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Chavez does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
