Baseball Recap: Carson Takes a Loss

Carson's tournament run continued when they took on Green Valley on Wednesday. Carson came up short against Green Valley, falling 13-3. The Senators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Grundy, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Carson's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Green Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Carson has already played their next game, a 15-0 defeat against Reno on the 25th. As for Green Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-3 loss against Faith Lutheran on the 25th.
