Avon Grove posted their closest win since May 13, 2024 on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Unionville Longhorns 4-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Devils.

Avon Grove got a great performance from Devin Rinker as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave Rinker a new career-high.
