Basketball Recap: Clinch Comes Up Short

Clinch was the 61-52 winner over Thomas Walker when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Clinch Wildcats fell to the Thomas Walker Pioneers 70-65. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clinch's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Thomas Walker, their win ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-19.

Coming up, Clinch will challenge Cedar View Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clinch knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Cedar View Christian likes a good challenge. As for Thomas Walker, they will venture away from home to challenge Rye Cove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
