Football Game Preview: Grundy Golden Wave vs. Richlands Blue Tornado + How To Watch

Grundy is 0-3 against Richlands since October of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Golden Wave will take on the Blue Tornado at 7:00 p.m. Grundy has given up an average of 48.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 66-16, which was the final score in Grundy's tilt against Honaker on Friday.

Meanwhile, Richlands played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 42-21 to Lebanon. The Blue Tornado haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Grundy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Richlands, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Grundy was taken down by Richlands 49-0 when the teams last played back in August of 2021. Can the Golden Wave avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
