Baseball Recap: Graves County Takes a Loss

Graves County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Carlisle County Comets. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one run.

Graves County's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Carlisle County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season.

Graves County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carlisle County, they will take on Ballard Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games the Bombers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
