Basketball Recap: Archbishop Rummel's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Archbishop Rummel had won two straight games and TJ Duhe did his part to make it three on Friday. The Archbishop Rummel Raiders snuck past the St. Amant Gators with a 67-63 victory thanks in part to Duhe, who went 9 of 18 on his way to 33 points and six rebounds. What's more, he also racked up two blocks, the most he's had since back in December of 2023.

Archbishop Rummel is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for St. Amant, their loss dropped their record down to 15-17.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbishop Rummel will face off against Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Amant, they will take on Lutcher at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in St. Amant's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Lutcher has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
