Hammondsport wins going away against Keshequa

The Hammondsport Lakers took care of business in their home opener on Wednesday. They strolled past Keshequa with points to spare, taking the game 51-37. For Hammondsport, this counts as revenge for the 58-26 loss Keshequa walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Hammondsport got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaiyah Ali out in front who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Ritter, who scored 13 points.

Hammondsport's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Keshequa, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Hammondsport will head out on the road to face off against Canisteo-Greenwood at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Keshequa, they will be playing at home against Naples at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
