Soccer Recap: Guyer Takes a Loss

After flying high against Flower Mound last Tuesday, Guyer came back down to earth. The Guyer Wildcats fell just short of the Coppell Cowboys by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Wildcats couldn't quite close it out.

Guyer dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Coppell, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-1-1 record this season.

Guyer will head out on the road to face off against Hebron at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coppell, they will challenge Little Elm at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Coppell's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
