It was a good run, but Linfield Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arrowhead Christian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in March.

Noah Getz was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Linfield Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sawyer Franzen, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Linfield Christian's loss dropped their record down to 15-6-1. As for Arrowhead Christian, their record now sits at 14-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Linfield Christian by a score of 6-0 on Thursday.
