Basketball Recap: Wright City Comes Up Short

Wright City lost against Duchesne two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The contest between the Wright City Wildcats and the Duchesne Pioneers didn't end well, with the Wright City Wildcats falling 47-33. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Wright City's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Duchesne, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wright City will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Louisiana at 7:00 p.m. on January 13, 2025. Duchesne and Granite City will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on December 26th.
