West Prairie extends home losing streak to four

Recap: West Prairie Cyclones vs. Lewistown Indians

This season hasn't been kind to the West Prairie Cyclones, who are still winless after their eighth match. They fell 42-34 to Lewistown on Tuesday. West Prairie has struggled against Lewistown recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

West Prairie's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braden Coplan, who scored 9 points. Coplan scored a full 26.5% of West Prairie's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Cordell, who scored 9 points.

West Prairie's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-8. As for Lewistown, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Prairie will face off against Cuba/Spoon River Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lewistown, they will head out on the road to face off against Mendon Unity at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
