Baseball Recap: Taft Comes Up Short

Taft fell victim to Chaminade and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 7-0 to the Eagles. The Toreadors just can't catch a break and have now endured nine defeats in a row.

Taft's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Chaminade, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-12.

Coming up, Taft will square off against El Camino Real at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Royals' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Toreadors' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Chaminade, they will take on Shadow Hills in a tournament on Monday.
