On Tuesday, Howard came up short against Upson-Lee and fell 2-0.

Meanwhile, Rutland can bid farewell to their seven-match losing streak thanks to their match on Wednesday. They came out on top against Northeast by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Rutland took both sets by at least 25 points. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0.

Howard's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Rutland, their victory bumped their record up to 7-20.

Howard was able to grind out a solid win over Rutland in their previous meeting back in August, winning 2-0. Will the Huskies repeat their success, or do the Hurricanes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
