Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Northwestern

Northwestern had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Shawnee Braves by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 on September 4th.

Kailyn Scott paced Northwestern's offense, picking up 11 kills. Scott got some help from Jaycee Robbins and her 23 assists. Robbins also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ava Berner, each putting up three.

Northwestern's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Shawnee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Northwestern didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Graham Local on the 1st. As for Shawnee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against North Union on the 2nd.
